Tanja “Tanita” Sundell is the front-woman of Atomic Berries – a seasoned performer with the kind of presence you feel before the chorus even lands.
Her road to the band runs through years of singing competitions and public performance, from Tangomarkkinat and X Factor Finland to The Voice of Finland, alongside a fiercely disciplined run in fitness competition that took her from the Finnish stage to European Championship level.
Add her natural showmanship, warmth, and unmistakable eurodance spark, and you get exactly what Atomic Berries needs out front – power, charisma, and a pulse that brings the whole music to life.

Mike Midas is the songwriter, producer, and creative spark behind Atomic Berries. Every release carries his fingerprints: big melodies, bright 90s energy, and that unmistakable feeling of a song built for both the dancefloor and the heart.
His musical compass has always pointed toward the 90s — not as a costume or a retro trick, but because that sound shaped him from the start. Around 1995, Midas began making music with computer software like FastTracker II, building songs with close friends and learning the craft the hands-on way: beat by beat, hook by hook, f#up by f#up.
Eurodance can be considered a quite controversial music genre. For many the style got out of fashion right after millenium — and some of you weren’t even born when the style was mainstream.
But for Midas, eurodance is the real thing. Emotional, bold, catchy, energetic but nothing to do with sports, bit dark, dirty, stolen, glamorous, and dramatic — with a tendency to go out-and-proud and straight to the deep end.
Mike has even joked that if Mozart had been born in the same decade as him, he probably would have composed eurodance too. Hmm? He might have had a point!
Still, Atomic Berries is not only about nostalgia. Beneath the club-ready beats and throwback sparkle, Midas puts real weight on songwriting. The lyrics matter. The feeling matters. These songs are made to touch people who love eurodance, of course, but also listeners who may not have discovered yet.
Around 2018, Midas also became the founding director of Voodoo Entertainment, a Southwest and Southern Finland-based event agency, record label, and fan merch operation, with one of its biggest milestones being Voodoo Rock music festival.
This reminds us that Mike’s operational reach has always been about keeping another foot in the studio door, and the other one in the hallway of live music scene.
